Sea Island, GA
The PGA Tour stops this week in Sea Island for the playing of the RSM Classic. Interestingly, the winning score has been the same -19 for the past three years. The defending champion is Robert Streb, whose only other career win was also at this event.
Who should win? – Scottie Scheffler (14/1)
The guys who win and win multiple times are players who have all the tools and genuinely feel like they are the best in the field and they should win. We will find out very soon if Scheffler is of that class.
Who could win? – Webb Simpson (18/1), Robert Streb (75/1), Kevin Kisner (40/1), Corey Conners (25/1)
Streb is the defending champ and his two career wins are at this venue. He is coming off a T7 and it’s hard to believe he is a 75/1 longshot at this tournament. Simpson, Kisner and Conners have done well here in the past but none of them have played well recently. One or all of them will be in contention this week.
Who will win? – Scottie Scheffler
He has only played this tournament once and it was a T5. Coming off a T4 and a runner-up finish, he is definitely the player to beat this week.
