TPC Summerlin
This week on the PGA Tour will see a semi-strong field compete at TPC Summerlin. The desert conditions should produce the traditionally low scores we are accustomed to at this event. Two-time winner, Kevin Na and last week’s champ Sam Burns will be competing along with Brooks Koepka, Masters champ, Hideki Matsuyama and perennial bridesmaid, Louis Oosthuizen.
Who should win? – Abraham Ancer
Ancer has taken a few weeks off but has played well here in the past and is one of the hottest players on tour. He and Viktor Hovland and Scottie Scheffler share the best odds to win at 22/1.
Who could win? – Matsuyama (25/1), Burns (25/1), Will Zalatoris (25/1)
Matsuyama could run away with this title if his putter gets even a little hot. Burns has an air of confidence about him and is now someone who has to be considered a favorite at any event. Zalatoris should win sometime this season, could be this week.
Who will win? – Matthew Wolff (45/1)
The oddsmakers still appear to be skeptical but his strong finish last week and his past results on this course suggest he could make his comeback this week.
Longshot bet – Erik Van Rooyen (70/1)
Van Rooyen is one of the hottest players on Tour but has not played this event prior to this year. He also has attractive odds (14/1) to finish top-5.
